Bit of a slower week but thats okay! Enjoy some judgmental raccoon. This week was spent doing more work on understanding canine anatomy and eyes. The comic idea has had a few revisions. So I’m not sure this raccoon will make it into the comic just yet, hence why I didn’t fix his eyes.

Here is the most recent update on the panel! Moving into coloring and shading next. Future post may change from here as I’m not sure how long the coloring may take.

Eyes are possibly the most expressive part of a character. I need to spend more time on them to make them more detailed and pleasant to look at. Keeping things symmetrical and even at my level is still a bit tough! Regardless I’m satisfied that it came out looking a lot better. Also added a bit of yellow to the tail to break up all the white in the body.

Here is some recent artwork I have done. I’ve officially started sketching the storyboard for the first chapter! It looks very rough, and will probably need multiple revisions. It has made me aware of several problems. I still don’t know how I want the geography and buildings to look. In addition to that, I need more characters. Going to keep you all updated!
