It's one of a number of sketches that were recorded in the pre-sessions for Tim Hecker's amazing Ravedeath, 1972 LP. These sketches have been collated and were released by Kranky as Dropped Piano - an album of gentle harmonic beauty as well as some chilling dissonance.Â

I heard about Hecker's new "Ravedeeath, 1972" spinoff a few weeks ago but hadn't heard any of the tracks until now. I have to say this makes me extremely excited :)
