Inktober, day 9. A Scorn Screeb, mid-detonation.
Inktober. A hive thrall, looking to get even nastier than it already is. Day 6.
I hadnāt chosen a theme I was doing for Inktober and I couldnāt motivate myself to just do random themes, so I decided to do all Destiny creatures. Starting off, hereās a Goblin. Day 5. (Pardon the pencil leftover, couldnāt get it to erase completely)
Iāve been the DM for a few months amongst a group of friends, and itās probably one of the most fun things Iāve ever done. The current world is custom, and Iām loving modifying or outright creating new monsters. Later in the campaign my players are going to be able to meet up these two. The first is a Kruthik Queen (Kruthik lord, but I had to nod to the Aliens), based on the Kruthik youngling artwork. The second is a part of the story. Itās a large undead creature Iāve created known as the Reconstructed Horror. They havenāt gotten color yet.

For the past few months I worked seasonally at Hot Topic. We have a suggestion list for people to write lines/bands they want us to carry, that is then sent to corporate. One day, a while back, I decided I should put up something harmless and funny. So I wrote the first thing that came to mind: āAdult Teletubbies.ā Iāve been doing it every single time the paper is refreshed, basically ritualistically. One of my coworkers has been completely bewildered as she didnāt know who had been writing it.
Someone at corporate is probably trying to work out why the Children Want to Buy Sexy Tinky Winky..... the Lordās Work....

I wear a black resin magpie skull as a necklace (From Skullery), and wanted to work with feathers and the skull. Initially the idea was for it to have three sets of wings, but it works much better without them. It has retained its name, however.Ā
Lugged is actually written in Dark Souls (I think in 3) about his spear. I think it means "weighted." I've only heard "Lug" used to mean a weighted ball when not used as a verb. But seriously, you are being too kind to the comic. I picked it up to see how it was myself and "By Ornstein's lugged spear" is it bad. Not only is it unrelated to dark souls, it has some of the worst writing I've ever seen.
Iām really surprised about this because this means they read an item description from the game. Maybe they googledĀ āOrnsteinā once and just went with the first adjective they saw, which is still more effort than the comic suggests.
But yeah, itās real bad, it goes down theĀ ādidnāt try at allā fantasy comic checklist
you got the dull boob armour and floaty action poses
the vaguely tribal looking sidekick/exposition machine (who is called Aldrich, probably so they can license it as Dark Souls)
but my favorite are the zombies who are INEXPLICABLY wearing the same shitty assĀ āgeneric 90ā²s background civilianā clothes that have been in every single below average cape comic to this day and they just piss me off so muchĀ
but what the fuck do I know, apparently the goal was capturing the atmosphere, maybe they just forgot to release it
