Their parents are aging, and they are far from ready for what is to come. They don’t deal well with change, and they are very close to their parents. Being aasimar, they live much longer than their human parents. Every time they think about the eventual death of their family, their anxiety skyrockets. They try to avoid it as much as possible. That’s what they do with their problems, avoid them.

Cautious in nature, they have spent their life afraid to make connections to those around them. Not for fear of commitment, or abandonment, or any common rational answer, but fear of the unknown. They grew up alone, no family figure to stick around with them, which could be the cause of their inability to connect. They desperately want to find someone, though.

Despite their worries about connection, they are incredible at it. They can calm any restless soul with nothing more than a look and a few words.

Because they’re a celestial being, they long for someone to understand them. An angel without anyone to look out for is a sad existence.
