συστρατιώτης  (  sustratiótés  //  fellow soldier  )  —  a curious case, it is, to meet a hero so renowned.  There are memories of a time long past  (  Achilles of a different sort, a warning disregarded  )  alongside those wholly new.  For it is his curse he carries  —  two wrongs don’t make a right  —  a similar burden.  It’s almost refreshing to spend time with the elder. 

Anything is better then being alone, to make a friend along the way makes the path worthwhile.  Percy is certainly growing attached.  A prime sense of humor, a smile worth its weight in gold.  A sparing partner the likes of which he feels amazed to consider.
