First season will come out around the month of April (this year) since it's when university starts in Perú. [They said that people there usually go to university at age 16.]

It's a university project. (All the team go to different universities.)

There will be a second call to audition (the first one ended today.)

The clips and episodes will be uploaded to YouTube without geoblock and will air in another platform yet to be revealed.

Sana won't be a Muslim; they said that Islam isn't such a popular religion in Perú, and they want to represent a religion that needs to be heard. (I'm honestly scared about this.)

Isak will be a male; they believe that gay relationships are less accepted than lesbian relationships in Perú. (Myself being Venezuelan, I agree it is like this in most of Latin America.)

Eva's name is Luciana.

The cast hasn't been chosen but the first season is already written and shooting will start soon.

The possibility of there being more seasons will be determined by how well this first season does.

Actors will be +17 (they will look like teens, not grownups in high school).

This other platform the show's gonna air in is going to have exclusive bts content and clips. Users will have to pay, but the episodes will be free on YouTube.

Every character's aesthetic will remain mostly the same from the og (the way they dress).

They will address Venezuelan immigration (a huge topic in Perú at the moment.)

They have a psychologist in their team looking for the best way to write the Isak character. They said something about how everybody has some kind of mental disorder (??????)

They won't show an aesthetically pleasing Perú, instead how Perú really looks like.

They are using their own money for now, and will be using the platform they talked about before to earn money entirely for the project after season 1.

They are trying to have a cast as diverse as possible, and are not sticking to European beauty standards.

They won't be working with any Peruvian channels since that could jeopardize the possibility of there being an Isak season. Perú is a very homophobic country.

"1. About the project.

Skam Perú is a university project made by university students that they, too, are fans of the show. Every clip and episode will have the respective credits for author's rights and moral elections. The purpose of this all is to entertain and reflect problems that we as teens deal with in our society.

We haven't ignored legal issues, we tried to directly reach out to the [people] responsible [for SKAM] but we got no answer at all, reason why we decided to work through the corresponding author."

"2. About where it will start.

Unlike other countries, In Perú there are no educational centers known as [bunch of different ways of calling] High Schools. Here, students finish high school being 16 or 17 years old and attend a university, though the national average says 18 years old. These changes are somewhat shocking or in some cases a little harsh, and this is the project's starting point."

"3. About the diffusion.

We have decided to manage the diffusion of the clips through our YouTube channel, plus we have opted to make them free [no geoblock]to watch wherever, the point is that you enjoy it and give yourselves to it because that's the reason we decided to do this. We will have characters's WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger chats. Further on we will explain how it is that the project works."

"4. Will you still follow the original storyline?

Perú is a diverse country in every aspect of it, that includes the high contrasts that exist in out society, that is why will show the real part of the society and the city, not the one they show on promotional videos or the same structure as always. The city will be explored from important angles. The season, too, will be something new so that you can enjoy, not knowing what will come next by touching important topics though the original essence will remain."

"5. What do you do about the money?

Like we explained before, we are university students and a lot of us are working right now. The development of this stage is being covered with our own money since we don't have a budget. This helps with the management and rents that we will need. We plan to work with a platform in order to raise funds that will be used exclusively for the project, for the travelling, shopping and other stuff. In exchange for this, we have decided to give you exclusive content like clips, streaming, interviews, behind the scenes and much more."

"6. The Muslim religion.

Based on the last census done in our country in the year 2017, the muslim religion is less than 1%. We know the starting point that this religion meant for the original version, but we've decided to focus on a religion with a heavier weight in our society and to be able to explore all the problems, prejudices and important factors that will help us understand this religion which is often looked down on."

"7. The auditions will continue.

First we want to thank everyone for how welcoming you have been with us. We know how important is the show to all. We understand that many weren't able to send their form in time but don't worry, we will be doing a second call to auditions. Likewise we will make group calls for extras in scenes with higher concurrence, just stay tuned and we will inform immediately through our social media!"

"8. About the future of the project.

We have seen many comments about the other seasons and fears related to the society we belong to. Right now we are very focused on the first season and we will wait to see how this one does. In base to the results we get we will move on to other seasons, including the third season related to homosexuality."

"9. Diversity in everything!

Diversity will be what's important. Not only in the cultural or social way, also with in conversation topics and the characters, religion, politics, xenophobia, fears, doubts, judging, sexual orientations, and many more topics that will help reflect that the younger generations in 2020 are more than uploading ig stories and that these topics influence their daily lives.

We are very grateful for the support that has been given to us, we know this is the foundation for a fandom as big as SKAM is. We are in all social media, we read you and take your opinions into account, we also know the love that exists and, fortunately, the love; that's why we've decided to face it and do this project."

La primera temporada saldrá más o menos por el mes de abril de este año, ya que en abril es cuando los adolescentes entran a la universidad en Perú. (Dijeron que usualmente entran a los 16).

Es un proyecto universitario. (Toda la gente del equipo va a diferentes universidades).

Habrá una segunda llamada a audiciones (la primera terminó hoy).

Los clips y episodios serán subidos a YouTube sin geoblock y saldrán en otra plataforma que aún no revelan cuál es.

Los actores no se han elegido aún pero la primera temporada ya está escrita y las grabaciones empezarán pronto.

La posibilidad de otras temporadas será determinada por el éxito que tenga esta.

Los actores serán de 17 o mayores (lo que significa que se verán como adolescentes, no adultos que van al liceo).

La otra plataforma en la que saldrá la serie va a tener contenido detrás de escenas y clips exclusivos por el cuál se podrá pagar. Los episodios igualmente estarán gratis en YouTube.

Las estéticas (formas de vestir) de los personajes se mantendrá casi igual que en el og, con adaptación peruana.

Hablarán sobre la xenofobia y la inmigración venezolana (un tema importante en Perú).

Tienen a una psicóloga en el equipo buscando la mejor manera de escribir al personaje de Isak. Dijeron algo sobre cómo todo el mundo tiene algún tipo de desorden mental (??????????? Espero que no arruinen su temporada).

No mostrarán a un Perú lindo como lo muestran en TV, mostrarán a un Perú realista.

Por ahora, están usando su propio dinero, y usarán la plataforma de la que hablaron antes para ganas dinero enteramente para el proyecto después de la primera temporada.

Están tratando de tener un elenco lo más diverso posible, y no se van a apegar a los estándares de belleza europeos.
