#sjips week

Sjips Week traditionally has themed days for inspiration for each day of the event, which for this year are as follows:

Spacemen Sunday (7/23): Watch out for space aliens, space pods, and space lasers on this space-tacular day! Yes, the big umbrella of sjips encompasses the webanimation Spacemen too, with its (in)famous characters Blue and Orange.

Make-Up Monday (7/24): Glitz and glam, get your style on with some cute, and perhaps famous, looks this day! But - “makeup” has two meanings... one for cosmetics, and one for reuniting in a relationship! It means what you want it to mean... it could even be both!

Tekkit Tuesday (7/25): Back to the classic Tekkit at the good ol’ SipsCo Compound... Sips and Sjin conning, killing, and robbing everyone in sight... yep, classic SipsCo activities.

Weepy Wednesday (7/26): Oh... oh. We’re having a day for angst? Alright... time to pull out the tissue box! [sniffles] On this day, join us for Triple D: Despair, DirtQuest Origins, and Death.

Transcending Other Dimensions Thursday (7/27): This is a fancy way to say AU, or Alternate Universe. Sips and Sjin in a domestic life AU, 1920s AU, merperson/pirate AU, AU AU... the possibilities are endless.

Furry Friday (7/28): Okay. We all know that Sips and Sjin were dogs in tekkit. This day is for furries... god help us all. Share your interpretation of Sips and Sjin as animals, or stick to the canon designs, everything is cool. Orange might even pop in for some scalie representation. But, if the idea of anthropomorphism makes you uncomfortable, this day can also be themed for Sips and Sjin’s beloved pets, such as Igo and Hugo, Jake and Charlotte, and Guy the Sheep (wait... sheep have wool, not fur. huh). 

Sexy Saturday (7/29): Alright! Things are finally heating up. Time for some fun. Focus on anything from pda to kinks in this day. (Please see the footnotes for more information).

These days are completely optional to follow, and there should be no pressure to theme content around them - they are only some guidelines for inspiration and fun!

All of this takes place July 23 - 29, so gear yourselves up!

During this event, please tag your content appropriately (ex. any n-s-f-w content should be tagged as such), respect each other’s boundaries, and most important of all, have fun! 

N-s-f-w content is allowed for any day during this event, not just Saturday - Saturday just focuses on it.

Details

Sjips Week 2016 will take place from July 24th to July 30th, 2016. You may create sjips content before or after this, of course!

Feel free to create content ahead of time for this event! Not everyone has time to produce and finish on the exact date.

You may post multiple posts for each day - everyone can make unlimited amount on content.

You do not have to follow the days’ themes exactly! They are more of guidelines and inspiration, not rules. Also, themes may overlap - such as if you made angst for Spacemen Sunday, it could also be considered content for Weeping Wednesday! If this is the case, you may want to reblog it again on the second day of overlap.

You are not obligated to create content for this event - it is all voluntary! If you would like to create content for one day, but not the next, that is fine!

If you are bothered by NSFW content, you may want to take steps to protect yourself during Sexy Saturday. I would recommend installing X-kit or Tumblr Saviour to be able to blacklist and block things that you do not wish to see! (If you do not know how to do this, do an internet search, and if you need help, feel free to send me an ask!) Hopefully, everyone will tag their content appropriately :)

Notes

Please be respectful of others during this yogfandom event by keeping shipping posts out of the main tags. These tags include #yogscast, #sips, #sjin, etc...

Please stick to the shipping tags, which are #sjips, #sjips week, #yogslash, #yogships, and possibly #yogsmut (if your content contains sex).

If you could make sure to tag your posts with #sjips, that would be good as some people may dislike the ship and wish to blacklist it.

You may create anything you want for this event! However:

Please be respectful by warning for triggers in your content. For example, Spacemen Sunday may contain gore or blood because of Orange. Some common triggers include self harm, suicide, homophobia, violence, death, murder, etc.

Please tag for NSFW content and nudity during the entire event and especially in Sexy Saturday! You may also want to utlize read-mores on posts.

Please do not create dub-con or non-con works. If you would like to create NSFW content for Teencast Thurday, they must be 18+ years of age.
