Next read is #ForsakenSkies by #DNolanClark this is #Book1 in #TheSilence series. As always I take turns from #fantasy to #sciencefiction . Having just finished #Bookburners this morning I wrote up a little review on my @goodreads account. Username "musicpowered" all in all I'd say 3.5-4 stars. Religious superheroes do tend to get my attention and a Book about a group of individuals fighting for the Catholic Church to guard the world against demons and magic was a very interesting concept to me. I've made the comparison before, but I'd liken this to #Warehouse13 meets #Supernatural with a dash of #minorityreport and #TheDavinciCode mixed in. That being said I do wish some characters had more time in the story and the way it ended was abrupt giving me the impression another book is planned. Or maybe it's one of those where the writers want you to draw your own conclusions. This book was published by both @serialboxpub and @sagasff head writer (or as he put it-outliner) is #MaxGladstone other stories from writers #MargaretDunlap @mightymur2 (who is the only writer in this group I have any prior experience with, having read and enjoyed #SixWakes ) and #BrianFrancisSlattery if there is another book in the works I will most likely pick it up to see these characters continue their story. #urbanfantasy #fantasyandsciencefiction #fantasybooks #magic #Vatican #exorcism #angels #demons #possession #serialwriting #book #bookstagram #bookworm #bookchallenge2017 (at San Antonio, Texas)
