literally the worst [closed;sixthrossius]
When hearing the news of being able to go back home, Marco only amused the thought once, laughing it off and thinking he'd never leave if only to keep the memories and relationships he worked so hard to build for so long. Even knowing that Muraku would be leaving to go back to his world, he joked around about it with the younger the night prior, hoping to ease his own mind before saying goodbye to the boy he'd come to grow so attached to.
But, waking up to see the same boy he previously thought would be gone from his life the next day only brought total confusion and a bit of fear rather than joy and relief. Marco even becomes startled when the other rustles awake from his small, make-shift bed across the room. Unsure of what to do, he remains quiet until Muraku sits up and wishes him a good morning--something that feels almost routine, but it couldn't be a standard with some person he doesn't even know, right?
"Ah... M..morning? Sorry, this might sound a little rude to wake up to... But... Who are you? How did you get into my room?"
