If you are going to bring up Instagram followers to prove that the Six fans “only care about Millie” then list all the follower counts of all the queens not just the main West End cast. I mean if we are supposed to care about them all then that means we should support the cruise cast all the same right? What about the student cast? They are the ones that started it all shouldn’t we show them love? And let’s not forget the first West End Queens. They are the ones on the current cast recording shouldn’t we be loving to them? Or how about we all agree that they all deserve love every single one and let people stan who they want to Stan. Because unless you are all about to go showing love to all 47 (soon to be 65 when the UK tour, Broadway, and Australian cast is announced plus any more that are added in the future) you can be quite.
I love all the queens equally. I have respect for the student run and the studio cast queens because without them we could have never had Six. I respect the West End Queens because without them I would have never fallen in love with Six. I respect the current Boston Queens because they are taking over America I respect the Cruise line Queens because the are all sweethearts and are doing something exciting and new. I respect every single alternate because that shit is hard. I respect the new queens to come because they are all amazing talented and deserve to be here. However 65+ Queens is a lot of people to show love to every single day. So yes I have ones I show my support to everyday (Vicki Manser, Courtney Stapleton And Collette Guitart are literally the loves of my life). But that doesn’t mean I don’t love Lexi or Jaye’J any less. It doesn’t mean I hate the Six Boston cast (Andrea has literally stolen my heart and idk when I’ll get that back). All I’m saying is just because someone doesn’t show that they care to the public doesn’t mean they don’t care. And to call a whole entire fandom “racist” over something you have seen a few people do is ridiculous. Yes racism is very real and it is something that needs to be discussed, but Instagram follower count isn’t the way to do it.
