📙 🅱🅾🅾🅺 🆃🅾🆄🆁 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 📙 𝗦𝗜𝗫 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗦 by Angela Marsons ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗙𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗲 I'm absolutely thrilled to share my thoughts on Six Graves (DI Kim Stone book16), D past of the blog tour hosted by Bookouture. Thank you for my spot on the tour and for the advance cope of the book in exchange for an honest review. 𝗠𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 This book was gripping on every page. As soon as I started reading, it felt like I was right there in the squad room with Kim, Bryant, Penn, and Stacey, almost a member of the team. They now feel so familiar to me that I can picture their interactions. There are a great mix of characters, some lovable, some likeable, and some loathsome, and together they make this even more thrilling. The team dynamic this time round shows some friction on the team, particularly between Bryant and Penn, which until this point, Stone had not picked up on. Now, I like Bryant and this felt completely out of character for him. They all have personal issues, which may effect the way they deal with the events ahead of them, which on their own would  be stressful enough. As always, I felt protective of the whole team, and because of the fantastic writing, I felt the stress, rage, fear, and determination along with them. I'm not too proud to admit that at one particular moment for Stone, I even shed a tear. Overall, I honestly believe this is the best in the series. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to any reader of crime thrillers, mysteries, or police procedurals, repeating my advice to read the whole series in order. How does Angela Marsons still keep getting better? Her new book, Six Graves, is a tremendous crime fiction story. This is the 16th book in the DI Kim Stone series. " A killer named Soames that DI Stone put away has escaped. And the only thing he wants to do is hurt her. Her boss puts her under protection, which she loathes, but goes along with to keep her job. She and her team are called to the site of an apparent murder-suicide. Something doesn't add up for Kim and as they investigate, family secrets come to light. Another family member dies under suspicious cirmcumstances and the team works overtime to find answers. Can Kim stay protected from a killer and also find a murderer?" Marsons blanaces the two story lines here. DI Stone wants to do her job without restriction. The agent protecting her knows that the killer only needs a small window to get to Kim. Marsons goes inside the killer's head a bit and it's a scary place. There are team dynamics at play. It's good to see them grow and change so that every book is not the same. And Marsons is not afraid to kill a character. Read the prologue and see for yourself. There are moments with the protective agent - Leanne. I hope we get to see her in future books. A wild ending (and I love a wild ending) Marsons adds a couple of twists this time. This is a great story, even if you don't normally read crime fiction. Great series and characters from Angela Marsons.
