The other day there was a power outage here and my bf immediately found a flashlight. I joked ‘thank god for Green Lantern’ and laughed for a full minute. Now he’s offended and not talking to me. I thought it was hilarious. AITA?

Throwaway because my friends know my account, so I (16M) have had a crush on my friend (16F) since elementary school but she’s been dating my other friend (16M) for about a year and it’s been terrible. Terrible for me I mean, their relationship is pretty solid unfortunately.
So lately I’ve gotten into the habit of cockblocking them whenever possible and it’s possible all the time because I can’t stress enough how little I do all day. I invite myself to their dates or show up from behind a cactus unannounced and my friend is all like ‘dude we didn’t invite you’ and I’m like ‘WOW RUDE.’ Once there I make up a family crisis and whine about it for hours (my record is 3 hours 40 minutes) to kill the mood, it works every time.
Lately they’ve been having problems and dumb arguments (they don’t seem to get it’s because of me stopping them from spending any time together lol) and I couldn’t be happier about it. But my brother (11M, super ethical brat) realized what I was doing and told me I’m being manipulative and cringe. AITA?

What’s been the most surprising development of your current rotation/generation/etc?
Pheeew, for this rotation I actually have to think a little but in general, I can limit myself to three gigantic things:
1) Florence Delarosa - aka, the person *everyone* seems to crush on!
I have no idea why but for some reason in my uberhood almost every sim is at least a little attracted to Florence - and I partly get it, because, well, she is one gorgeous sim with her flowershop and her face and everyting but it is really concerning how many sims are heartfarting all about her.
I mean triple bolts with Darren Dreamer, Bianca Monty, John Burb AND Mortimer Goth? Girl, you got some game going on!
2) Broken Dreams - this episode: My Zombie Husband
The Brokes getting a genie lamp? Good for them! The Brokes getting money? Even better! Brandi getting Skip back? Perfec-…oh fuck, he’s a zombie. Still, I love him groaning around and dragging his leg a little and thinking about brains and, well, being a romance sim, everyone still thinking “oh, damn, I want a piece of that hot undead meat” - good for him!
3) The Beaker-Split
So, I love the Beakers. Everyone does, of course. I mean - who wouldn’t? They are an awesome evil couple who relish together in being evil?
However, Maxis-jealousy really escalated before I got a chance to play them.
Basically - Circe and Vidcund flirted, Loki got jealous, and the hate never stopped spreading.
Right now they are still living together at the start of their own rotation, beating each other up whenever they have the time. It’s unexpected but well, I’m rolling with :)
