🗡 The prince dies before he can ever be brought in front of Draco. Bowen takes the fall for his death, and still ends up as a wandering mercenary-knight. One day, he lands half dead in front of a dragon's cave (and this time he is the one Draco shares a heart with).

🗡 Crack treated seriously. The stars are angered by a Knight of the old code slaying dragons when he should walk with them and heed their teachings. Bowen wakes up in the body of a hatchling. Draco finds the baby dragon and decides to adopt him, all the more when he senses the soul of a knight of the old code inhabiting it.

(no matter how much Bowen refuses, living in the wild is dangerous for a baby dragon in those times. A few near death experiences might convince him to ally with dragonkin and accept his new shape).

🧊 Dragonheart : Vengeance (2020) 🧊 — Lukas, Siveth, Darius

🧊 As Darius grows up, Siveth stays by his side through various shapes.

🧊 Crack treated seriously, captured, post-movie. Lukas, Siveth and Darius go to a neighbouring country in order to investigate something / for diplomatic reasons. They decide to go anonymously to sightsee the city a bit while they're at it (never a good idea). Chaos ensue, and all three end up arrested (if you ask any of them, it's not their fault, it's Lukas’/Siveth's/Darius’. But we all know the blame is equally shared amidst the trio XD).

Now they just have… to escape before anyone realise they're the kingdom delegation, or find a way to explain the chains to their neighbour royalty.

(Loads of banter and chaos ensue)

🧊 Everyone has a daemon. Everyone, except those who brushed death and were saved by sharing half a dragon's heart. (The daemon cannot be saved- but the human can be stabilized, as the dragon take the daemon role and place).

When Lukas sees Darius for the first time, he wonders if his daemon stays hidden under his clothes. When he sees Siveth, sliding naturally in Darius’ empty space, he understands.

Draco, Dragonheart 1

Originally I was kinda lukewarm on his design, but after watching BTS and finding out the original inspiration for him was Foo Dogs, I warmed up. Really expressive face, a pioneer in computer animation, though I still prefer dragons with longer faces. I really like his anatomy, he’s a solid bloke with cool ridges and scale texture. I wish his wings were better connected to his body, they look a bit flimsy. Overall a very solid design, 7/10

Drake, Dragonheart 2: New Beginning

The prodigal son(?) of Draco, my least favorite Dragonheart movie also has my least favorite design. While I understand Drake is meant to be a younger version of Draco, something about him feels very Uncanny. I think it’s how short his snout is and how smooth his face looks compared to Draco. The rest of his body is similar to Draco, and same complains with the wings apply. 5/10

Drago, Dragonheart 3: The Sorcerer’s Curse

While not my favorite Dragonheart movie, it has, in my opinion, the coolest dragon design. Drago moves much more animalistic movements and really solid anatomy. I love his lil underbite, and the way he uses his wings like a bat to balance himself. Also, his shadow form that displays his skeleton is a really creative decision and looks sick as hell. He looks distinctly different from the other dragons in the series, while still looking like he Belongs to the series. 10/10
