#sitwell week

That one where Clint plants a tracker on Jasper cause he doesn't trust Fury and his secret plans and ends up having to save Jasper from dying in a gutter because Fury is a douche and then they run away and end up getting dragged back because Jasper idolizes Fury like Lucky idolizes pizza.

This ship hit me upside the head and dragged me into the cave of wonders.  A pair of geniuses with poor people skills becoming loyal and important to each other?

What started as silliness of Jasper liking a fancy car - moved to a meme where Tony broke up a wedding (to Whitney - and boy all that can of worms) and then.  Oh god and then.

Tony making things for Jasper.  Random toys, gadgets, a freaking leg cast (and as soon as he found out Jasper's favourite colour? EVERYTHING was blue).

Tony getting morosely drunk and desperately telling Jasper that he CANT DIE.  and Jasper dragging him home to his own apartment to sleep it off....

Tony showing up at Jasper's apartment, because it was so much homier than his.  Planting himself on the couch.  

Then the CUDDLES!  Jasper falling asleep on Tony and Tony gently rubbing his shoulder.  Tony falling asleep on Jasper, and Jasper plaing with Tony's hair.  Jasper finding out that the easiest way to convince Tony to actually SLEEP was just having him in his space.

Jasper coming home to Tony zonked out in his bed.  They weren't even a couple, but Tony's nightmares didn't bug him when he was with Jasper, so he experimented.  It's a Scientist thing, okay?  Maybe it was just Jasper's space.

It wasn't just Jasper's space.

It was Jasper.

Then Tony started making more and more things, and Jasper got more and more frustrated because No, Tony - you don't have to make things for people to keep them!

SHIELD fell. Jasper ran, but had to make One Last Goodbye.

So of course Tony said Fuck That Noise, kidnapped Jasper's Go-Bag and Beta fish, and drove down to DC area to kidnap Jasper to the mountains where they could be safe and relatively anonymous.

(and he built more things, like a way for the fish (which he named Bob for reasons) to be more mobile)

(And Jasper helped him stay on the wagon.)

(And Tony is so futzing in love with him, and Jasper is right back - that it makes me want to squish them together forever)

A diner/mechanic shop.  It may be a daydream of a world where they don't have to be heroes (Because To Tony Jasper will ALWAYS be a hero and refuses to hear anything against that)

I have so many feelings for this couple because of this rp.  So many feelings about geniuses with bad people skills clinging to each other through ptsd and issues galore - because even if nothing else makes sense, they have each other's backs.

Really I love this whole run as far as Sitwell is concerned, but this is just such a Jasper moment.   Bucky has been out beating people to a pulp because he is so pissed off about the fact that Natasha is missing.  Jasper knows this.  He knows how deadly Bucky is,  He knows how angry Bucky is.  And yet.... 

And Bucky, who has been and remains in the mood for violence, (shortly after this there's a lovely bar fight that Buck initiates much to Sitwell's annoyance)  just sort of accepts it.  

And that is one my favorite things about Sitwell.  He says and does things that you just do not say.  He says things that should get him maimed or killed and he doesn't think twice about it. He says them to people who are so much more powerful than he is, and they just sort of accept it.
