âȘ!
Musettaâs playlist surprisingly has a lot of folk/violin music. I think it fits with her being a drifter, going from one new place to another. But also how thereâs also this sadness or longing in these songs that you kind of catch on to when youâre listening to them. (or that could just be me) Sorry this ended up being more general and overall for a type of music, but âAttaboyâ is one of my favorites to listen to when working/drawing.
goblin for ... ume! : D
Does your character have any unusual habits?
Ume canât purchase any food without thoroughly checking itâs ripe and still in date. She canât stand mold or less than good quality food, and as a merchant on a fruit and veg stall in the Ulâdahn markets, it is a habit for her to just... feel up those melons to make sure theyâre all good.Â

What does your character like in other people?
She likes things that remind her of her mentor, Vâshalla. Dedication, patience, the harsh exterior that underlies a rarely seen kindness... The last, sheâs come to realize, is always a lie. No one else was every as kind, even when they werenât as cruel.
What does your character dislike in other people?
Overconfidence. Rashness. The lack of ability to just talk about things, to know when not to push buttons...If she really thought about it, she might try and find some new friends. Or at least get a friend group without Arismont in it.
Kill Me > Iâll write a drabble about my character killing yours (either way round)
When Zumyn was tainted with the void, Lavender had dreams about saving her. In those dreams she wasnât a scholar, or a lowly conjurer, but a fully fledged white mage. A proud and talented woman who had overcome the racial boundaries of white magic, and a woman intent on saving her best friend.
Those dreams always ended the same way: Zumyn crumpling in her arms, screaming, as the white magic conflicted with her tainted blood. Eventually her screams would fade as her body convulsed one last time, and Lavender would wake up in a cold sweat, unable to get the image out of her head. Even after Zumyn found her cure, it would take a while for those dreams to fade.
But then things changed, and suddenly they were no longer friends, and Lavender wanted nothing more than for Zumyn to hurt the way she did. She thought about fighting her, that itâd be the only way to make it happen. But those daydreams always ended the same way: the fire of Zumynâs magic encasing her, nothing to see but fire and the shimmer of heat as she died. Maybe beforehand sheâd get a hit in, cut Zumyn with her wind magic or encase her leg in stone. But she never won in those daydreams, she never could win.Â
It was much, much less dangerous to challenge Zumyn to a fist fight, even if that didnât really go like she had planned either.
Sky: Our characters are stargazing.
Lavender finds Iâzumyn in the library, leading her outside with the promise of miqaâbobs and drinks. Itâs a warm night as she takes Zumynâs hand, leading her up the stone stairs sheâs added to the cliff face next to the house. From the top of the cliff, thereâs a beautiful view of all of Mist, the lights in the distance dimming as everyone heads to sleep.
But more importantly, itâs a clear night. They lean back on the rocks, staring at the starry night sky as the warm sea breeze blows over them. Lavender points out a few constellations she remembers from her time sailing, grinning, before Zumyn rattles off the names of all of them they can see. They crack open their drinks, eat some miqaâbobs, and chat about stars and fates and things that friends do. Thereâs awkward moments, as there will always be now, but maybe spending time stargazing together should become something they should do more often.
It all goes very well until theyâve both had a bit too much to drink and insist on proving that they can use their magic to get down cooler, and they limp off back to their rooms afterwards.Â
