funny to me that robert is given the title sir, which is a title that is specifically used for knights.

Slowly adding all of gold kindom to my island, added Socks von Bloox and Sir Robert tonight :)
watching the robert pov after having seen the kleptonox pov first is really interesting. i imagine it's the same vice versa
because like. robert is really interesting because, compared to just about everybody else, he's kind of a nobody. just some guy. he's the peasant; a farmer. all he does is work; work on the farm, work on cooking, work on getting enchants, work on making sure everyone has what they need to survive. he cares deeply for his kingdom, his friends, to the point where he is unwilling to leave even when given the option and having perfectly valid reason to because he needs to make sure they're okay. that's the only thing that matters to him.
he gives things away so that the others have a better chance of making it out. he doesn't fight unless he has to, and a lot of the time even when he is attacked, rather than defending himself, his first instinct is instead to run and hide. he literally begs for purple to leave them alone, to call off their attack, and when it doesn't work he just...goes back home. because he doesn't know what else to do.
he makes friends easily; basically everybody likes him, and so they usually (keyword being usually lol) leave him alone (e.g. dye going out of their way to not destroy his farm and even willingly TELLING HIM that they were the one that blew up the base at all, and that it wasn't personal)
robert's view of kleptonox is very skewed for most of the smp. compared to most of the others, he doesn't actually interact with him much, so his perception of kleptonox is that he's just an evil tyrant that showed up one day and took over. he can't do anything about that; he's just the peasant (which robert removing his own autonomy is another really interesting thing about his character but we don't got time for that rn). he kinda likes him, because, well, kleptonox is fucking awesome, hype moments and aura and all that, but beyond that, he doesn't really care much for him or the way he handles things
he doesn't know that kleptonox is actually kinda like him. (putting under a read more 'cause this is getting reaaally long lol)
Sir Robert: What? You're not coming to my tea party? SIR TOPHAM I MADE B I S C U I T S!
Sir Topham: Holding his telephone receiver away from his ear, shocked.
Stephen, Millie, and Glynn: O-O.
Out, touching (sea)grass

Bertie: What is this strange thing?
Bobby: Don't touch it! Retreat, retreat!!!
ooh if you're not done yet 49/50 are really good questions too!!!
GERKLE YOU SPOIL ME
What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take everywhere with them?
Robert is very bad at sentimental, but he holds the home sacred above all else. his home is his most valued object, and he takes very seriously his responsibilities toward his home, as a lord and as the head of his house while his father’s at war.
If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?
his essentials are more conceptual than physical. he of course takes the ring that is both seal and the sign of his station as future Count of Eldridgeham, but he will also bring along something to improve himself, like a sword to practice with.
1, 9, 22, and 25! i don't know any of your ocs so pick whatever ones you want!! :D
YOOOOOOO THANK YOU
i’mma talk about my boy Robert because he has been on my mind.
What’s their full name? Why was that chosen? Does it mean anything?
He is Robert, Lord of Eldridgeham. I chose Robert because it was the dweebiest name i could think of at the time and lad’s a total dweeb, bro.
Do animals like them? Do they get on well with animals?
Homeboy loves animals, especially horses, and he’s very good with them. He trained up his gelding himself. He’s a little bit of the horse girl from middle school, not gonna lie.
What are their favourite insults to use? What do they insult people for?
okay so Robert is disabled, so he’s pretty good at not judging people based on issues that are beyond their control. HOWEVER, he is captain of the moral high horse cavalry and will self-righteously call you dishonorable. or worse. not worth the effort of diplomacy. burn.
What do they find funny? Do they have a good sense of humour? Are they funny themselves?
Robert takes himself extremely seriously, so no. he does not have a good sense of humor. but he does laugh at a good comic theater (like, who doesn’t?) or a clown or a solid pun. the only person he makes laugh is Lydia, who has incredibly bad taste in humor. but that’s another story. ^-^
thank you friend!
