Didn't have any time to do art today, so I thought why not write a quick blurb/scene instead! It's about Siphalen (pic of him below for reference, he's one of my D&D PCs) this time round :3

Sip is the best hunter he knows. It's not an exaggeration, it's a fact, proven by how he's kept his family and much of the tribe alive, despite it all.
A dull *thunk* and he knows he's hit the mark: he didn't even have to look, really--the one benefit of constant over-awareness is that you know your surroundings without needing to focus too hard--a game bird, pinned to the tree when he finds it, will feed multiple families tonight.
He glances over at some berry bushes to his left, knowing immediately which ones are safe and which ones... not so much. He picks a few, tosses them into his bag, and heads back home. The forest is quiet, today; even peaceful, but Sip knows too well the true nature of the place he and the whole tribe call home.
Well, all except for one member.

When he makes it home, handing the bird off to a friend to butcher and distribute, it's time for the wine-making. A family specialty, alcohol, another thing his father taught him from an early age. He's probably been brewing ale and moonshine since before he could hold a dagger, if he had to guess.
His father hobbles down the stairs, mentions the festivities on the coming evening. Sip probably won't go, not today. Neither will...
Perhaps it's better his father hand out the wine tonight, get out of the house, enjoy the festive atmosphere despite it all. Someone has to look after mother, after all, and his father's been doing so all day.
He'll help his father carry the wine and moonshine to the clearing, but then, but then, he'll go back home.
Festivities just aren't the same when she's not there.

Hahahahhaha anyway I know this isn't super great without proper context (and doesn't show his skills *too* well) but, eh!
Siphalen has a lot of skills, you need them to survive in the forest after all! He's awesome at archery, spear-throwing, identification of what's food and what isn't in the wilderness, hunting, brewing (of wine, moonshine, etc), and more but that's all in the blurb!
