One of my newest creations: Holomancer Sioa

Sioa got born in Rata Sum and went to the college of Dynamics, where she graduated from. She even sometimes visited some lectures in the college of Statics because it was quite interesting. After an unsuccessful search for a crewe that fit her tastes she decided to go to the black citadel and become the apprentice of a charr engineer. Nowadays Sioa owns a little workshop in the black citadel where she repairs all kinds of weapons and devices.

Sioa has an incredibly big interest in holograms. In the back of her workshop she usually works on her own projects when there aren’t many customers.

What they smell like:

Mainly Sioa smells like machine oil and metal, sometimes a bit burnt.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):

Seestar-position is the best way to describe her sleeping position.

What music they enjoy:

All kinds of music.

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:

Not much at all, she doesn’t really care about making herself pretty for the day.

Their favorite thing to collect:

Usually things she can melt and then forge into some kind of weapon or supplies to repair machines/weapons.

Left or right-handed:

Right-handed.

Religion (if any):

None. The Eternal Alchemy may exist but she doesn’t care about it very much. It won’t help her anyways.

Favorite sport:

Her work requires a lot of strenght. Carrying bigger parts of weapons, airships and boxes of supplies around, forging stuff and assembling them is workout enough for her.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):

Sightseeing and food it would be. Sioa isn’t that interested in it but she does it anyways.

Favorite kind of weather:

Doesn’t matter, it’s not like she can influence it. Let mother nature do what she does.

A weird/obscure fear they have:

Pff, fear is for weaklings… If something turns up she’s going to face it head on. Can’t let herself be slowed down by something insignificant like this.

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:

Everything that involves shooting.

Lightbringer Xim

What they smell like:

Xim has a very faint scent. If you get close enough though you may notice he smells like a forest. Fresh and clean.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):

Whatever pose he falls asleep in. Be it on a chair, his hammock, the couch or at last his or a whispers bed, he can sleep anywhere. It’s rather random though if he sleeps soundly or has a very light sleep.

What music they enjoy:

Calm music mainly because it makes him feel at ease after a rough day. Petting his cats helps a lot, too. Their purring is the best music to him.

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:

At home he takes his time with getting ready. On missions though he gets ready as fast as possible.

Their favorite thing to collect:

Given that he likes tinkering a lot he may have a lot of model-ships and buildings at home.

Left or right-handed:

He can use both hands quite well. He was born right-handed but as a whispers agent trained himself a lot to be able to even write and work with his left hand.

Religion (if any):

Religion is interesting as long as you can make use of it. He himself doesn’t believe into anything though.

Favorite sport:

He does it all. But for his favourite part he would probably choose training his fighting skills.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):

Boring… all of it so boooring. He may check some places out but only if he gets dragged along.

Favorite kind of weather:

He doesn’t care.

A weird/obscure fear they have:

Xim got betrayed quite a lot in his past, thus he avoids getting involved too much in situations that turn up. All this simply because he doesn’t want to experience this again.

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:

2 armed attackers were shot outside the Curtis Culwell Center (I have been there many times) after they opened fire outside in the parking lot. The event hosted at the center was the “Draw Muhammad Event” in defense of Free Speech. Things to note: This event was organized by the “American Freedom Defense Initiative” which is also known as the Stop Islamization of America movement.

before linking these people to free speech, just note that they all represent hate speech and islamophobic speech. It’s not at all like Charlie Hebdo, it’s something uglier.

They're popping up on public transit all over New York and San Francisco: Advertisements sponsored by anti-Muslim blogger Pamela Geller that imply Muslims are "savages," dismiss "Islamophobia" as "Islamorealism," and urge passengers to "support Israel" and "defeat jihad."

This isn't the first time Geller, who warned America about "stealth halal" turkeys last Thanksgiving, has used a public transit ad campaign to get her views out. In 2010, she sponsored ads attacking a proposed Islamic Community Center near Ground Zero as a "Mega Mosque" celebrating the 9/11 attacks. Another ad campaign Geller sponsored offered help to those who may have a "Fatwa on [their] head" and are considering "leaving Islam." This time, her ads, which are sponsored by the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI)—one of the many anti-Islam groups Geller is associated with, were so controversial that New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority initially rejected them.

One of Geller's ads features a paraphrase of an Ayn Rand quote, "in any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man." The text also urges people to "support Israel" and "defeat jihad." When the MTA rejected that ad on the grounds that it was defamatory towards a group on the basis of religion, Geller and her attorney David Yerushalmi (the man behind much of the anti-Shariah legislation being proposed in conservative states) sued.

Yerushalmi, who once proposed making "adherence to Islam" a felony, wrote a letter to the MTA in which he argued that the ad referred to behavior rather than a group of people.  "[The ad] mentions neither individual nor group and it intends none."

Whether ads implying Muslims are "savages" speak to anyone other than Geller's fans, though, is another question. Several Jewish and pro-Israel groups have condemned the ads.

"AFDI presents itself as a pro-Israel group. Our sense is that it's just a mischaracterization of who they are. They are an anti-Muslim activist group, and you don't have to be anti-Muslim to be pro-Israel," says Michael Salberg, director of international affairs for the Anti-Defamation League. "The ads are offensive and inflammatory." But despite calling the ads "inappropriate," Salberg agreed with Engelmayer that Geller has a right to post them.

The Jewish Community Relations Council in San Francisco and the American Jewish Committeeissued a statement saying that "We are steadfast in our support of Israel and our concern about the growing threat of Islamic radicalism, and steadfast in our opposition to anti-Muslim stereotypes." On her blog, Geller referred to the ADL, the JCRC, and the AJC as "dhimmi Jewcidals," writing, "Even the Judenrat didn't protect and defend the Nazis' war on the Jews. They went along, but they didn't advance and promote it."
