thank you! and WELL the great thing about this upcoming relationship is that we know so little about how goldie is with kids. so far her total interaction with kids is “Children.” “It’s not a date!” “Absolutely not.” and something along the lines of “Will this make Scrooge angry?”

Possibly! Scrooge has more outright ambition, but when Louie gets his odd gust of wind he’s clearly just as smart, just as capable, and just as willing to do whatever it takes to get some ca-ching.

That’s a good question, actually. They seem to let themselves get easily carried away by first impression, and I’m not sure if they’d find him attractive, given the kind of men they’re into

Like Hercules, Dewey is on a journey, a journey of finding himself, who he is independently from his brothers, and who he wants to be; taking his mom as his role model (because he’s a lot like her and feels close to her because of that), and finding out what kind of person she used to be and what happened to her is part of this. 

Another resemblance with Hercules would be Dewey’s desire to prove himself; and we know that also wants to prove himself, stand out from his brothers, and we know  that he dreams of leaving Duckburg and become an famous daring adventurer and explorer.

I don’t know. I am wracking my mind for what kind of treasure Della found, but was treasure in it for the treasure or for the adventure itself? 

If we’re gonna compare Della to Dewey, since it’s confirmed he reminds Donald and Scrooge of her, Dewey is not in it for the treasure but the actual adventure itself.

It could be that Della wanted to accomplish something Scrooge didn’t, go the distance no one had before her. 

In my view of Zootopia, the only evolved species are mammals. Insects, birds, fishes, reptiles, are just what they are. I have an OC who lives at an Ostrich farm. :D

Hard to say! I imagine he hammed it up pretty hard, whatever the case may be. Lots of crocodile tears and wailing.

I don’t think so, Haida has known Retsuko for a while (even if he doesn’t know ALL of her yet), and during that time he didn’t even realize that he’d been developing feelings for her, until Fenneko pointed it out. And even then, when he finally gathered the courage to ask her out, he admitted that maybe he doesn’t know her as well as he thinks, and would like to know her better. So I think he’s a guy that knows where he stands. 

As for Retsuko and Resasuke, I feel like there were several factors that influenced her feelings for him: She WAS looking for a boyfriend at the time, Gori and Washimi had told her that she could fall in love under the correct circumstances, and honestly? She met him during a time in which she was out of her comfort zone, and so was he. They had both been dragged into something that isn’t really their thing (the mixer) and found comfort in each other. But in the end, Retsuko didn’t fall in love with him. She fell in love with the idea of him. She fell in love with the quirky prince with the bishonen face, not with the spaced out, clumsy, socially awkward and plant-lover guy from Sales. Like you say, she fell in love with the idea of being in love, and, well, crude reality crashed sooner than later.
