Took a little extra love, tears, frustration, and cuddles to get this little one down tonight. And after 10 months of doing it on my own, it does get extremely exhausting, and I'm so ready to not be a single mom anymore. However. . I love that although my career is not where I want it to be right now, and it is a work in progress, my life is as customizable as I can make it working outside the home as a single mom. When I leave work, I'm done until I clock back in the next day. Screaming kids and barking dogs making it impossible to hear my school lesson video, I just hit pause. Need quiet time to workout by myself and work on my business, I set my alarm earlier. Little man needs more dark and quiet while I nurse him to sleep, I pause my school videos, lay down my business on my phone and I sit and just invest in the moment with him. . Your life is what you make it. You get out what you put in. But it is okay to hit pause, or lay your phone down and just live in the moment, exactly how God intended life to be.
