i hath acquired the most prestigious Singer 401a. it came with no pedal and a plug that was cut off. wow gee thanks.

the good news is that she spins freely. so once I get a pedal I can oil her up and use her. Singer 401s and 500s can use cams that will give you a wide variety of stitches.
