sorry guys!
if I’m being honest, as soon as I got home I blacked the hell out immediately, so I didn’t post about my journey home after work…
Yesterday was so tiring and it was even worse without my cigarettes… dr Harlow would usually give me a thermos of coffee so I wasn’t taking coffee away from the others who may need it more, but now I have to fight over coffee with everyone else! I’m not gonna say the thermos was a luxury because the coffee was always cold and grossly sweet, but I think I’d take the cold coffee over the good coffee that’ll have people pulling their fur out over it. These guys are monsters about coffee!! :(
anyways, as I’m posting this, I’m back at work. I’ve got some odd hours, but I live relatively close to the hospital so I don’t complain. Dr Harlow stopped by and we talked a bit about the anomaly attack that happened yesterday. I told him I was still pretty shaken and he told me it was normal for my first shift to be spooked by some intense stuff. This hospital was unpredictable. He slid me a coffee thermos and told me to keep it between us before leaving. He’s a chill guy! Hopefully today’s gonna be a relatively normal day.
