I don’t think Harry and Louis hate Larries… I think they hate the toxic behaviour like being nasty about Freddie. They see it, so Louis says stuff like “shipping is cringe” as a result. I feel for them so much about the awful things said to and about them/their families every day. Maybe they’ve decided to stop paying attention to Tumblr because of all the grossness of the recent 18 months and I can’t even blame them for that. I may be naive, but I’m hoping for a change

What’s wrong with Larries not willing to put up with the negative undertone of the fandom and trying to change the minds of others to stop hating on Louis? I don’t care if you call me the same as Larries, I am a Larrie and I’m advocating for positive changes within the Larrie fandom and the fandom at large. I want to be a Larrie on my own terms, surrounded by others who love and respect Louis, who think that he deserves so much better. I won’t cease trying to help and encourage other Larries to reject the unbelievable and hurtful anti Louis rhetoric thrown about these days by people who say that they love him.

I ship my ship fictionally and, although I can admit if they ever got together I’d be thrilled, I’ll respect their space and encourage and support their personal endeavours. Original Larries were nothing but normal shippers and, as one, I criticise and condemn the harmful behaviour of some integrants of the fandom. That’s what we are here for, to remind people kindness and respect are still possible even when you like Larry. There’s nothing wrong in shipping, it’s the way you decide to go about it. And we have decided to go with love.

@sincerelarrie here, I thought I should introduce myself on the group blog but this post is more to redirect you to check out the about page I wrote which contains my introduction and my goals in creating this movement. All of us coming together to respectfully love Louis and Harry without bias and prejudice is my ultimate mission for this entire fandom and I hope some day it will become true for all Larries who are feeling that same dissonance.

Thank you. I’m glad. We’ll just be using the tag “Lourries” anyway. And hopefully some day we’ll be able to proudly wield the fandom label of “Larrie” again and this won’t even matter anymore.
