Yesterday's Beer October 20 2011
After the tour of the AGO with he Toronto beer lovers we braved the rain and went ove to Sin and Redemption. Sin and Tedemption has quite a good list of Belgiun beer on tap. Belgiun beer not being my particular favourite I found solace in Fullers Honeydew ale. Sweet and drinkable I had a few pints along with a fine club sandwich, really good fries and good conversation with my fellow Toronto Beer Lovers. Later at home I tried one of my prizes from Montreal via Brasserie Dieu De Ciel Corne de Diable India Pale Ale. Phenomenal beer. Beautiful amber coloured and firm lovely foam with an amazing hoppy flavour. Another fantastic beer I can't wait to try again.
But, don't take my word for it drink the beer!
Toronto Beer Lovers : AGO & Sin and Redemption October 19 2011
Following up on an idea proposed by our illustrious beer queen. I booked a tour of the Art Gallery of Ontario followed by drinks at Sin and Redempion. Despite the rain and wind it really turned out to be a pleasant evening out. Initially beginning with an appropriate group of seven we enjoyed a lovely wander through the AGO. It was a fun experience as each of us had a different level of experience and a different outlook on the gallery. I was more than happy to spend brief moments popping by familiar paintings and other following my group and hearing their thoughts and memories of difference works. After a good couple of hours in the gallery we wandered through the rain and headed over to Sin and Redemption for some good food and beer.
