Source Warriors for Christ. By the way socialcross.org is likened to Christian Facebook.
It’s fine to be apologizing about any sins committed against anyone (violence, hatred, murder, lying, etc). It’s not fine to celebrate or excuse sin. It is obvious in such words that are calling believers “narrow minded, judgmental, manipulative”.
SIN IS SIN
Greetings all. So, I know that I have not been on here in a few days. I have been super busy. I am going to try and get to bed at a decent hour tonight but that is a long shot with the way that my night is looking right now. Anyway, the Lord has put on my heart to write about sin and deliverance. Even as a Christian, I still stumble. There are times when I may think a certain way or say something to someone and not realize immediately that it wasn't the nicest thought or the nicest thing to say. Then the Holy Spirit will convict me and that thing that I said or thought will bother me so bad until I apologize and ask for God's forgiveness. So I said that to say that there are so many different types of sins. No one sin is worst than another. Sin is sin.
As Christians I think sometimes we forget about different sins and ways that we have been delivered from when we see others struggling with those same sins. Instead of encouraging our brothers and sisters in Christ, we turn our backs sometimes or look at them in disgust and with shame and don't want to be associated with them because we aren't there anymore and seeing someone who is still there just gets our goat. But that is wrong. Just because we have been delivered from that particular sin or stronghold does not make us better than anyone because they may have been delivered from something that we are still struggling with such as gossiping or lying or mean thoughts.
We have to remember that sin is sin and just because we are not living in a particular kind of sin anymore, does not mean that we are perfect and can go around judging and looking down upon others. God is the only judge.
Romans 14:4 says, "Who are you to condemn someone else's servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord's help, they will stand and receive his approval." Romans 14: 10 says, "So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we all stand before the judgement seat of God."
So the next time you think about passing judgement on another Christian brother or sister, remember, just because you aren't there anymore, does mean you are any better than they are. Reach out to them. Share your story of deliverance. Lift them up by inspiring and encouraging them. Satan never takes a day off and neither can we! May God bless you and remember God is Love and God loves you!
PSALMS S.O.A.P. ~ PSALM 72
Friday, 10/27/23
SCRIPTURE:
God, give Your justice to the king and Your righteousness to the king’s son. ~ Psalm 72:1
OBSERVATION:
Without getting political and all...
...this is pretty personal - the difference between them and me is in my opinion, only a matter of degree...
But to God?
Sin is sin...
APPLICATION:
Receive His justice - as offered through His grace...
Receive His righteousness - as given through Jesus...
Give thanks for He Who knew no sin, but still knows - and died for - me, the sinner...
PRAYER: (With Verses 18 & 19 added in...)
Grace-filled loving Father - Blessed be Your Name... You alone do wonders. Blessed be Your glorious Name forever; May the whole earth be filled with and see Your glory. Forgive my sin, which is great in Your eyes, no matter how small I try to make it... Let me rely on You instead of trying to willfully handle things myself... Thank You for Your Holy Spirit's presence - may I lean into and rely on it - and for Your Son Jesus Who showed Your love through His life, death, and resurrection - on my behalf... In His Name, and for Your praise-filled, worshipful, glory... Amen and amen.
As always, yours always, in all ways - because Jesus...

Okay... hmmmm... let me put it like this: if God made us all be the way that we are, then why would God make you be attracted to men if he thought it was wrong for men to be attracted to other men? That just doesn't make sense. I don't believe a loving God would do that. So, the only thing that makes sense is that God doesn't actually care about that and this whole "it's wrong for men to kiss other men" idea is something that humans just made up.

Ugh. My brain hurts.
Just because someone sins differently than you does not make either one you better than the other. All sin is equal in the eyes of the Lord
