Hey everyone, the LGBT Mod has finally been updated for the latest patch and Italian and Portuguese translations have been added. Sorry for the wait!

Hello beautiful people! This update is to make the mod compatible with the latest update. If you still have problems with this new version though, please let me know!  Some minor changes have been made to make it easier to give sims traits, so PLEASE read the instructions below.

Installation Instructions (UPDATED, PLEASE RE-READ)

1. Delete all previous versions of this mod.

2. Download the mod from the link below.

3. Move ZIP folder to your mods folder

4. Extract files from the Zip folder using a program such as Winrar or Winzip (if you have multiple folders within your mods folder, make sure the .script file is no more than 1 folder deep).

5. You can delete the ZIP folder now if you want. You can also delete the Homophobic trait if you wish.

6. Start your game and in your game settings make sure mods are enabled and that script mods are on. If they are not, check the boxes and then restart your game.

7. To give/remove sims LGBT traits you simply click on the sim you wish to give a trait.

9. Under the LGBT Mod menu (in settings) you can select what trait(s) to give the sim. You can also remove the traits from a sim this way.

This is a reward trait that your sim will receive if you get at least bronze after hosting a Drag Show event. Sims with this trait have specific interactions that are not found in the LGBT menu as follows:

Hello Everyone! I am back again with another update! I finally switched the traits to gameplay traits which means some changes as to how you give sims the traits, and also regarding notifications. Also you will notice that the homophobic trait is now an optional file. If you don't want homophobia in your game, you can delete that file.

When you first start up your game you will have to give sims whatever LGBT traits you want via testingcheats now. To do this, pull up the cheat bar (shift+ctrl+c) and type in "testingcheats on". Then you can shift+click on any sim and select their sexuality/identity to give them the gameplay trait which unlocks interactions under the LGBT pie menu for that sim. (If you had the previous version, sims with these traits will have them automatically converted to gameplay traits.)

Once a sim has one of the traits they can use the new interactions on other sims which can result in good or bad buffs depending on the relationship between sims and whether or not they are homophobic (if you choose to use that trait). If you choose to make a sim homophobic, other sims can attempt to change their mind about the LGBT community, but beware that it may not work and instead make them angry! You will also notice I changed some of the text from convince to encourage to come out (as suggested by someone) which makes it a bit more positive.
