It's been quiet some time since I last posted on Sami and her journey in the aftermath of the zombie virus outbreak!
Sami was indeed on death's door coming face to face with that zombie, however, the wheel of life and death decided she would survive AND for story purposes, she was saved by a couple of survivor's who were taking cover in the nearby building. They helped Sami and made it back to their base where Sami not only met the third person in their group, but faced the decision.. does she cut and run back to Tisha and Max, leaving them behind.. OR does she take them with her. The wheel of life and death said to take them with her.
So we now have Abe (Abraham), Cassie and Gabriel. Abe is handy and Cassie is artistic! Gabriel however.. Gabriel is a toddler from another family who's all turned zombie. Abraham saved him and brought him back to where Cassie had been waiting for him. Tisha immediately fell in love with little Gabe and hit it off with Cassie. It took a bit for Abraham to get close to either of the girls, but he and Max hit it off pretty fast.
Max is loving all the belly rubs and ear scratches! Tisha enjoys Cassie's company and watching her paint or draw. Sami feels more content having other people besides just her, Tisha and Max. It was a little rocky at first getting into a routine with a toddler who still had trouble falling asleep at night, but after getting some supplies for him and moving his playpen into Sami's room - he's been adjusting much better to life at base camp.
