To Trellis and Shine : What do you do to keep each other happy ?
S: *eyes Trellis, coughs and runs his fingers through his beard* Well, you see, we obviously engage in quite a lot of...intimate activities. That set free endorphine.
T: *laughs* Yeah, I guess that’s one way to put it. I also cook for him.
S: But that’s not why I married you!
T: Can we please remember that I was the one to propose to you? Anyway, food. And since we have different days off, the only time we really get to spend together is Saturday and Sunday morning. That’s family time. Shine loves family time.
S: You sound like I’m a pet you’re trying to sell.
T: Oh dear, now someone’s probably gonna call me about this. SHINE IS NOT FOR SALE! *laughs*
S: She’s right, though. These mornings are quite the highlights, even though the girls complain about having to get up semi early sometimes. But I’ve introduced them to dad naps, now they’re fine. There’s one more thing...we usually finish work quite late and come home tired, but we try to take as much time as possible anyway to review our days and talk about anything important that’s on the other’s mind. And hug away their worries if necessary.
T: I guess we get by just fine, don’t we, Shine?
S: Prepare to fight me if you think there could be an improvement, Internet! You know I will expect detailed studies, and diagrams. Line diagrams are my favorites, just saying.
