So this is how SIMPLY SIXTY looks like... Then I'll be looking forward to it eagerly! No fancy 7th birthday.. no glamorous 18th birthday.. No golden birthday.. But a #Simply60 Birthday must not be missed. For there have been so many things you should be thankful for the past 60 years of existence. You may not have felt it but you have touched sooooo many lives as we were editing those video greetings from people whose lives you've touched effortlessly. You have been both a blessing and an inspiration to them without you realizing it in the first place. Your random acts of kindness speaks alot of how Lolo Coné and Lola Ting molded you to be and you have, unconsciously, passed it on to us, your children. You have showed us that paying forward will always give back a hundred fold. Sleeping and being with you these past weeks made me realized we have missed so many quality time since I started college and eventually medschool and board review season. I would jokingly say I miss lutong bahay back in Manila, but what I was meaning to say, I miss the meals you prepare in particular. I may seem annoyed most of the time with your endless nagging and constant reminders of everything I've been doing wrong, but when you miss calling me a night or two, I would feel bothered too🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Last night when asked what my FONDEST memory would be, I said it in general but these past few weeks had been the fondest so far. Aside from the daily ration of take home meals from the office, stories we share during breakfast, and sometimes dinner, made me realize alot. I hesitated to share it because I know it would really bring so much tears and I just don't want to ruin my make up last night😂😁😝 Happy happy happy 60th Birthday Mommy @maehz28!
