These Gluten-Free Chex Bars are a tasty and simple snack that people who are sensitive to gluten will love. People of all tastes will love these treats because they taste like peanut butter, chocolate, and pretzels all in one.
Ingredients: 4 cups gluten-free Chex cereal. 1 cup gluten-free pretzel sticks, broken into pieces. 1/2 cup gluten-free mini chocolate chips. 1/2 cup gluten-free creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup honey. 1/4 cup gluten-free white chocolate chips optional. 1/4 cup gluten-free butterscotch chips optional.
Instructions: Put the gluten-free Chex cereal, broken pretzel sticks, and gluten-free mini chocolate chips in a large bowl. Put the gluten-free creamy peanut butter and honey in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Heat them for 30 seconds, or until they are easy to mix. Mix everything together well. Add the peanut butter and honey to the large bowl and mix it all together. Mix the ingredients together until they are all evenly covered. Put parchment paper around the edges of a 9x9-inch square baking pan, leaving some overhang on the sides to make it easy to take off. Firmly press the mixture into the baking pan that has been prepared. To make the top smooth, use a spatula or a piece of newspaper. You can melt the gluten-free butterscotch chips and white chocolate chips in the microwave in 15-second increments, stirring between each one until smooth, if you want to. Add the butterscotch chips and melted white chocolate to the top of the bars. Put the bars in the fridge for at least an hour to set. Once they are hard, use the extra parchment paper to lift the bars out of the pan and cut them into squares or bars. Enjoy your gluten-free Chex bars!
