As the elevator came to a stop, Drake readied himself.  The door opened, and he exited out into a corridor, where several Caldore soldiers were standing guard in front of a door.  They all pointed their guns at him, and one of them started speaking in the Caldore language.      “Yeah, I don’t understand a word of that,” Drake said as he raised his hands.  “Well, other than ‘bthok’, that means ‘stop’, right?”      The same Caldore that had spoken said something to another one, who took out a device that Drake recognized as a translator, although unlike the one he had been using earlier, this one had a speaker instead of just a screen.      “I told you to stop and surrender yourself,” the translator said after the Caldore spoke into it.      “No problem,” Drake said.  “I surrender.”

     Krissy tried moving to the left, but Rachel anticipated her and moved to the left as well, so then she tried moving to the right, but then immediately back to the left, but Rachel anticipated that as well.      Krissy was certain that Rachel was going to win the go-kart race, when all of a sudden Rachel slowed down and pulled off the course.

     “We are not going to a strip club,” Krissy said, from the passenger seat.      “Come on, it’ll be great,” Rachel said, driving down the street.      “Just trust us,” Murshidah said from the backseat.      “And how did Rachel talk you into this idea anyway?” Krissy asked.      “Just trust us,” Murshidah said.      “And what about Ted’s older sisters?” Krissy asked.  “I thought I told you they should be at the bachelorette party too?”      “Just trust us,” Murshidah said.

     “So, board game night for my bachelor party?” Ted asked as he looked around the room.      “Yep, it was the best idea I could come up with on short notice,” Jake said.      “No, it’s great,” Ted said.  “Nothing that’ll get me in trouble with my parents, what with my younger brothers being here.  Plus it’s fun for everybody.”      “Well, if you’re happy with it, then I’m happy with it,” Jake said.

     “So, I hear you’re starting a band?” Rachel asked as she met up with Lyle.      “I am indeed,” Lyle said.      “And you haven’t asked me yet?”      “Oh right, sorry about that, but I’m asking you right now.  What do you play?”      “I can play keyboard.”      “Awesome, sounds good.”      “So, who else is in the band?”      “As of now, it’s just you and me,” Lyle said.
