We Are At Alec Media Monday, all!
Apologies for the service interruption yesterday but WE'RE BACK! This is the cast of Gun Dog in 2018, a play by Alan Longman that Alec was in at the Royal Court Theatre in London.
A story of one family's struggle to survive in rural England, featuring God's Own Country's Alec Secareanu.
He's not in the video A LOT, but he looks SO GOOD in it. Also, actor Alex Austin's look at Alec is a Whole Mood. Who doesn't relate.
In conclusion, he should wear more beanies, definitely. I don't blame him for the hat because his curls and beard got SERIOUSLY EPIC during this production. Not only can you tell from the sheer volume but the longer his beard is, the more he fools with it.
I really love this look for him and I could watch those few seconds of video over and over. He's so attractive in them.
Hope you enjoy your daily Alec and have a great day, gente!
Alec Hair Appreciation Saturday Is Here!
This is from when Alec and his truly inspiring nimbus of curls were rehearsing for the play Gundog by Simon Longman.
Josh mentioned that when he and Alec had the GOC audition that Alec seemed to have this calm that played off of Josh's intense Johnny Saxby energy really well and, to me, it seems like he always has that? Like this aura of of chill and peace that wafts around him no matter what he does? I think that's why when he plays villains it's STILL THERE, and when he does something violent or fucked up, it's jarring. That peace translates to this simmering undercurrent when he plays a bad guy, like he can manipulate the energy as he does his physicality sometimes.
Here he is in his ubiquitous black zip up which, I swear, the man seems to live in, and he is smiling and his long, long, legs are crossed, and this is the most darling picture.
I hope everyone has a great day and we'll see you tomorrow for Fanart Sunday!
We Made It, Gente! It's Alec Hair Appreciation Saturday!
Here are Alec, his hair, and cast member Rita Zmitrowicz of the Simon Longman play Gundog that Alec did in 2018. It ran at the Royal Court Theatre and Alec's hair and beard were pretty epic for this production!
There's nice hand visuals, too. :-) I love how the sleeves of hoodies are never quiiiiiite long enough so a an inch or two of wrist always peeks out.
He is so lovely .
Thanks for reading, all, and see you tomorrow!
Let’s go. Anywhere. I don’t care. Just get to our horizon and see what’s after it because whatever it is it’s got to be better than this right? Right?

Ed Fringe 2018: Island Town at the Summerhall Roundabout
If you walk around the edge of an island, eventually you’ll end up exactly where you started – no change, no movement, just an endless cycle. The ring is inescapable. Life for young people, according to playwright Simon Longman, can sometimes feel exactly the same – you’re marooned.
Longman caked the Royal Court with mud in his award-winning Gundogearlier this year, but the sparsely staged…
