Thanks for the reply! So it makes sense it didn't find the sims 3 folder.. I don't have sims 3 installed. Does that mean I can only convert items if it's installed? Is there any other way around it?
No, you must have TS3 installed. As it says in the first paragraph of the tutorial. If you want an item from an expansion or stuff pack from TS3 you must also have those installed.
