39 ♥

39 weeks! Full Term Baby!

And 5 days! baby’s due date is in 2 days...even though first time pregnancies are usually overdue. I’m so heavy and belly is super low as it is, what the hell will my 40 week bump look like?!

Hassan and I have been walking alot to naturally induce labour, but no change. I always get scared walking as one of my fears is going into full blown labour in a park, or my water breaking in a busy coffeehouse.

I have had a false labour scare and got written off at the hospital, so far just loads of braxton hicks constantly. More than ever.

I am SO ready to have this baby. Hassan is getting impatient,my family freak out when they don’t hear from me for half on hour, everyone is on the edge of their seats.

it puts alot of pressure on me as I have to push him out, I feel like a game show. The only people that have been calm and understanding about not rushing me is my amazing husband Hassan, and my phenomenal midwife Alice.

Gonna attempt to update with as many selfies with baby bump while it lasts, who knows he could come tonight! Hassan ordered indian food! (extra hot)

How far along: 39 Weeks 5 days

Bump status: LOW! HEAVY! i can’t get out of bed!

Stretch marks?: Present!!!

Sleep: what is that?

Baby purchases this week: Moroccan moses basket! from the together store

Best moment regarding baby this week: The fact that he is full term and ready to let mummy help him come into the world!

Gender: Boy!

Movement: Always, he’s shuffling lower and lower

Food cravings: None

Food aversions: not that I’ve noticed

Miss anything?: shaving my legs myself.

Belly Button In or Out?: sticking out for all to see

Rings on or off?: On.

What I am looking forward to?: Birth!

Our baby in veggie/fruit terms: a massive watermelon.

How’s mummy?: so uncomfortable, period like pains on and off when I try to sleep, my belly is..shiny?
