i’m new to simblr, though not new to tumblr at all. i’ve been running different blogs since my teenage years, so being here feels familiar in the best way.

i’ve been playing the sims 4 since release, and the sims in general since i was 8 years old, starting with the sims 2 on my friend’s computer because i didn’t have my own yet (kind of a core memory tbh).

sul sul everyone! my name is viridian, (not really) i’m a twenty-seven year old simmer and wannabe cc creator from the usa. this isn’t my first simblr, my previous one got wiped out by tumblr and i was never able to get it back. this is my first time back in quite a few years!

i’m a primarily maxis-match simmer, and i probably spend more time organizing my cc than i do actually playing the game. but hey, i’m still having a good time. part of this simblr is me trying to make myself actually do things, we’ll see how it goes! hopefully well!

I am a long time simblr lurker finally making their debut.... so nervous !! My name is Myrm & I am a simmer from Barcelona who likes to play with her glorified computer barbies a lot. I am currently an illustration/comic student & due to my background in 3D modeling i dabble in making CC sometimes, but mostly for personal use.

I've been playing the sims ever since i was 3 apples tall but never had the courage to post on tumblr. I'm a sims 2 loyalist at heart but most of the gameplay i show will probably be sims 4. Be patient this is all very new to me as a twitter refugee

All in all my friends have been really encouraging me to finally do something with my bajillion sims stories so I gave in. Thats what i kinda wanna focus on in this blog so hope we can all share heehee

Sul sul! 👋 My sim Gabi and I welcome you to our colourful corner called Kithlien! Technically this isn’t a new simblr, but I've been inactive for quite a long time and wanted a fresh start. It's like my 8734567th try of creating a simblr and maintaining it. Student life keeps me really busy all the time, but I always come back here and it’s definitely a sign! 

Who am I, you ask. So my name’s Kits (she/they) and I come from Poland. I’m a 30+ veteran simmer, who’s been playing the sims franchise since 2002. I love all sims generations, but here I’ll focus on TS3 & TS4. My sims style is Maxis Mix and all about colours. I spend an insane amount of time in CAS and Photoshop - that means edits, sim portraits, lookbooks and (occasional) sim dumps will be the main points of the programme. However, I don't rule out some gameplay and stories in the future, so stay tuned!

Very, very, VERY late but since my Tumblr is over a year old now and its a new year I thought I'd talk a little about myself and what I post since I don't think I've really done that before.

About Me

My online name is Mari. I'm a 20+ y/o Black female Simmer.

I don't remember exactly when I started playing, but I've been playing the Sims since the first entry in the franchise and pretty much grew up with the games. I've played every mainline entry and quite a few of the spin-off and console games, so I guess you can say I'm "veteran" Sims player.

For my Sims 4 experience, I had been playing it on and off for years but began playing more regularly maybe 4(?)-ish years ago when I figured out you could play with mods virus-free, and after that I began sharing my Sims with custom content sporadically in online Sims spaces like the Sims 4 reddit. Buuut I only dove deeper into the Sims 4 community and sharing consistent info about my Sims after joining Simtok and Simblr in November 2024.

The Type Of Content I Make And Share

I do not consider myself to be a Sims storyteller or a Simmer that can be consistent with the types of things I make and post. I pretty much just make whatever I feel like making at the moment, and post it as soon as I finish it if I'm satisfied with it, which is why my content type constantly shifts.

I think its more fun for me this way since it helps me flex my creative muscles without getting bored or burnt out on doing the same things over and over again. But I have been trying to get more into sharing my Sims' stories because I think i have interesting ideas to share. I just like doing it in a way thats easier and fun for me.

Influences Behind My Content

I can never tell if it shows in my content, but I'm a big fan of Japanese media and try to convey it in my Simstyles, while still keeping my characters close enough to look Simmy, and posts.

I also like bright, colorful, sparkling things, pretty boys and girls, cool, tomboyish girls, blah blah blah, allat, which is a major influence behind my character designs.

Some of my characters are also inspired by common Anime archetypes but expanded upon, like Lily who is meant to be a parody of a Shoujo heroine. Or was... she's kinda doing her own thing now while stil keeping some remnant of her original purpose.

Other Interests

The Sims occupies, like, 89% of my brain at all times, but outside of it, I have pretty varied interests. Other games I currently play are Animal Crossing New Horizons and Infinity Nikki. I also like Vocaloid, Fire Emblem (im and fake fan that only cares about games from Awakening onwards lol) Chainsaw Man... tbh, I'm chronically online enough that you could propose a fandom to me and I probably have at least heard about it lol I also watch a lot of True Crime, mostly JCS and Dreading.

Anyway, since I can't think of anything else to say, I'll end it here.

new(?) simblr introduction 💫

Howdy! My name is Carly, and I've been a simmer since 2013, which is nearly half of my life at this point. I bought TS4 a week after launch and have been playing (way too much) ever since; through all the drama and bullshit, I'm still here.

I'm not new to Simblr at all; I think I had 2 to 3 Simblrs between early high school (2014-2016) and my first two years of undergrad (2018-2020). I just honestly do not remember their names. But I haven't been here in a while, so I'm happy to be back. Hopefully, nothing too crazy has happened since I was gone!

I usually play the game between studying for grad school and work. I like creating wild storylines and unique sims. I write creatively outside of my sim stories, so this is practice for the stuff I want to publish in the future. I can't wait to share my stories with all y'all!

I also might post other games on here every once in a while. When I get my hands on The Switch 2, I might not know what a Sim is for months, so a little warning ahead of time.
