Back around 2003 to 2004 when I was living in Botswana there were these little metal discs called “Tazos”. They came in bags of Simba chips and they were basically just little highly collectible things with images from Dragonball (Z).
They were all the rage on the schoolyard.
There were 4 kinds.
Metal Tazos which were your basic anime scenes
Silver and Gold Tazos were character portraits with silver and gold borders. If there was a gold tazo that wasn’t super saiyan, I didn’t have it.
Then in 2004 they introduced Click Tazos which, as you might assume, click when you press into the face.
Anyhow, I grabbed them from my old house when I visited for 4th of July and figured they’d be neat to show off.
