I donât want to say that I was dreading the moment that I would see my sister, but i knew it was inevitable. I havenât spoken to her since the incident. Sheâs tried reaching out to me, but I always summed it up to being âextremely busyâ and then never calling her back. Until now, I didnât care to listen to anything she had to say. Something about being here with Kendrick has me realizing that casting my sister out wouldnât fix anything. I canât and will never forget what she did to me, but I can forgive her. She is my sister after all. Besides, blood is thicker than water.
Christine: âChels?â
I turn to see my sister round the corner in the kitchen. She hits me so hard we spin and I end up facing the opposite direction.
âHi, Chrissy.â
Christine: âOh, Chels. Iâve missed you so much.â âChels. Iâm so, so sorry. Please, forgive meâ she whispers in my ear.
