literally always a slut for some silverdevil. pretty sure i was part of the inception of it actually
it’s a good ol fashioned “opposites” attract kinda deal (polly is fancy, buck is yeehaw) BUT they’re also very similar (tfw you escape the crushing weight of societal expectations but it’s SCARY bc you’ve only ever known a system that hates you)
and i think buck deserves a guy who will spoil him endlessly. because polly would. grand gestures georg over here. conversely i think it would be really good for polly to have a calm normal person in his life. love his family, they are not in any way shape or form normal or calm. it’s mutually beneficial!
they’re also very good for aus (i have a beauty and the beast one, a vampire/vampire hunter one, like 3 fae ones, a handful of modern ones, i don’t have a problem i prommy) bc they are so compatible and have a lot in common with the cores of their characters. they’re so easy to adapt i’m so spoiled
also it’s a little funny if ricks ex and the guy rick had Mad gay tension with hooked up

Silver Surfer and Mephisto
My random thought about them.
Their rivalry isn't the typical hero comic rivalry. It's not instantly fighting to the death. Most of the times, Norrin doesn't even want to pay attention to Meph.
Mephisto signifies the guilt, doubt, loneliness, anger, hatred and disappointment that Norrin has for the universe. Most of the times, Norrin wants to pretend like he doesn't have those negative feelings at all.
Do you all ever think about how Mephisto's first appearance was in Silver Surfer comics? He'd been chilling on his throne in hell for a millenia until he sensed Norrin and then finally got off it.
