I think Basecamp is just screwing with me. This is not an acceptable checkbox size but it looks giant next to the trash can.

No Means No - Facebook Messenger Adds Insult to Injury
I guess I wasn't the only one who installed Facebook Messenger for the first time several months ago and promptly deleted it. Facebook means business this time and I installed the app again last week. I get that they want to increase user engagement but does using Messenger have to be so painful?Β
I coordinated a movie night with some friends through the app and the experience was unpleasant to say the least. There is way too much crap on the screen at one time.
In addition to typing a message, you can add a photo, video, emoticon, voice recording, a thumbs up and/or a location. I accidentally tapped that stupid thumb a couple of times while trying to send a message. Why does it look like a call to action? Why is it there at all? Why has it ever been on Facebook? After fumbling around and accidentally hitting a few more options, I was finally able to send "See you soon."Β
This does not satisfy my productivity bloodlust. Give me a strikethrough or something. Why do I have to try so hard to click a tiny box?
