What Had Happened Was... I got YouTube amped and couldn't wait to buy cornstarch and thought why not try without cornstarch now. Well without it in the form this silicone is in I can't really touch it without getting the goop everywhere. I need putty or I need a pour silicone resin type deal. The cornstarch prevents the sticky tackiness YouTube says lol. I stood up to get a little traction and pushed the silicone out the tube and the bottom popped open! Oops! It's like watching paint dry hehee. Let's see if I can get the silicone mold off the silicone mat after it cures. I was supposed to have tape underneath the blob and the silicone surrounded by a metal ring of some sort for a barrier then hot glued so it doesn't ooze out...this was a trial run but it's curing fast so I'll see soon. I'm sure I messed up the tube I bought. It's gonna be cured in that tube lol. Next I'll have the set up right or I'm just buying molding putty and calling it a day. Experimenting with silicone today!! This brand seemed to work with just the food color and cornstarch. So now I'm trying to make a glow in the dark version! I used acrylic paint, fabric paint, and embossing powder.
