Tire grade silica values maintain steady upward streak
Precipitated Silica Tire Grade values continued moving higher during the latest trading week as the Delhi domestic market maintained its gradual upward trend through May. Trading activity remained comparatively stable despite the continued rise, with prices steadily reclaiming earlier trading levels. Indian Precipitated Silica Tire Grade prices were assessed at Rs 121/kg on May 25, up from Rs 110/kg a week earlier and marking the highest level seen during the recent trading period.
The monthly comparison reflects clear strengthening from levels near Rs 102/kg recorded in late April. Compared with two weeks ago, prices increased by Rs 21/kg, indicating continued gains across several trading sessions. Over the past three months, the market strengthened from levels around Rs 86/kg, while six-month comparisons also reflected substantially firmer positioning than late-2025 levels near Rs 72/kg. Indian Precipitated Silica Tire Grade prices therefore continue maintaining elevated positioning close to recent highs.
