He comes in her dreams every day, touches her soul and vanishes. She runs after him, trying to get a hold of him and then dances instead, with such passion. That’s the beauty she finds in this wait.
She weaves stories in her head of how they’ll meet, he whispers in her ears, “The wait will be worth it."
She’s wearing her dream gown, that cap-sleeved black sleek dress, with red frilled lace, that’s outlining her body and falls at the end of her feet’s arches. Her straight hair, with loose curls on the ends, falls effortlessly behind her shoulders, exposing her tiny golden necklace.
He approaches her from the back, holds her hand and gives it a spin in such a way that her dress flares out and her whole body turns to face him. He comes close and takes the black-coloured venetian columbina mask, she’s wearing, off her face to find her eyes. He strokes the tresses on her face with his finger and drowns deep into her eyes, there’s no escape and he enjoys being lost in them.
With a tilting rhythm, her eyes look down as she reddens in his stare. She glances back up at his face and reaches her hand over his face with an intention to take off his black-coloured mask, that is astoundingly complimenting his body in that tuxedo. He catches her hand before it reaches his mask, strikes a smile, takes steps backwards and exits the door.
She stands still and this again keeps her from putting a face to their story, which wakes her up from her dream. Every time she thinks of love, she thinks of him coming to rescue her from the wilderness of this life and taking her to a place where time and space lose their boundaries.
When he sees her, he only sees her, with a fire ignited in his heart,When she sees him, he becomes transfixed, losing sight of anyone else in the room. When he speaks with her, he tries to learn more of her,When she speaks back, he promises himself to take the whole of her and never part from her. When she takes time to trust him, he binds himself to keep trying and proving himself. When she pushes him back, he knows he should try harder, cuz he can look beyond her facades, whether it’s her phoney grin or her tough demeanour.
When people say this kind of love is only found in storybooks, she refuses to believe that. She has faith in the universe that there is someone that is only there for her and no one else, and who understands her like no one else.
He’s out there, calling out to her and yelling, “You have big dreams, you have huge aspirations in life. Pursue them. I’ll come when you least expect me.”
He believes in her, fully and entirely, and is happier when he sees her succeed in life. He’s all about her; it is only him who can handle her fire.He desires her presence,He blossoms in her company,And in her absence, he feels dark night looming over him.
When people say she should meet and explore other boys, they don’t see that she’s already exploring him.
