WHEN AND WHERE: Afternoon, Olympus Medical Center.
WRITING TASK: 001.
Having Finn OâConnor as a patient was proving harder than Oliver expected. So much so that this next session ends with Finn punching Oliver right in the face. Itâs for reasons Oliver canât quite place but he tries not to let this sudden confusion contradict their therapy. He also tries not to allow the literal punch in the face to influence their therapy either. Still, it hurts like a bitch and Oliver orders Finn to go home. Finn rejects this, offering to drive him to the hospital. Thereâs a sincerity behind Finnâs eyes then that he hasnât seen before, so Oliver accepts his offer, releasing a sigh as he follows Finn out of his office and to his car. Oh, itâs also Oliverâs birthday.
The day started out pretty good, truth be told. Heâs a freshly married newlywed and woke up to his husband and daughter jumping around his bed and wishing him a happy birthday. It was wonderful, right out of a dream. Heâs not sure how his day has turned into this, tears stinging at his eyes with a throbbing face, on his way to the hospital. Oliver doesnât say much to Finn as heâs being dropped off, deciding to just get out of the car and wave goodbye and be on his way. Despite being an extremely open person, there were times where he preferred not to be so vulnerable in front of the club members. He knows they must think less of him already, why give them more excuses to do so?
Upon arrival, heâs being told to sit in the waiting room with only a small ice-pack to aid his aching face which also sports a small cut that bleeds just slightly. His injury was obviously nothing too serious, but it was good to get the proper care. Soon enough, blue eyes land on Silas, another club member that earns Oliverâs nerves to spike. Silas looks at him funny, or at least thatâs what Oliver gathers, and heâs unhinged and upset. âGive me a break. Iâm in the fucking hospital.â He spews, purely out of impulse. He realizes soon enough what heâs done and sighs, âIâm â Iâm sorry. I didnât â mean to ââ Words cut short, Oliver finding that maybe theyâre useless in this scenario. Not a good day for Oliver Stone. Not one bit.
