First of all, go follow @siggiedraws right meow! Now, I said! She did the original sketch and lineart. SiggieDraws allowed me to use the transparent lineart to color Dr. Jester. I was also given the okay to post this here on my blog before I got started on it.

I will never make Dr. Jester this shiny ever again! I spent 10 hours on the Chaos Emerald alone. 😶 I wish I was joking. The trick to coloring a diamond is to use a lot of triangles. After I was done with the emerald, everything else was much easier. It was fun coloring him! I hope you will take the time to really appreciate the details. 👀

Siggie's lineart is amazing! I didn't erase any lines or add new lines. I only changed the color of the lines.

Can I talk about the lore? I really want to talk about the lore.

He is holding a Klenian Chaos Emerald. Dr. Jester and the emerald both hail from Klenia. That's what I've decided to call the universe my OCs come from. (The word comes from Klein's Bottle.) In my old stories, the emeralds were the same colors as my characters and they commented on it. Same color = more power!!

In Twilight Princess, it's described as a "divine prank" that Ganondorf possessed the Triforce of Power, thus surviving his execution. So, it must be another divine prank that Dr. Jester is the same color as one of the seven emeralds. Currently, the seven colors are: Green, Blue, Sky Blue, White, Pink, Purple, and Brown.

I've long been making scanlations for various projects on my own, but lately that's been changing in the best of ways!

I'd like to welcome to Acqua Scanlations @siggiedraws as the group's new resident cleaner and redrawer!

Siggie does phenomenal artwork and recently started getting into cleaning and redrawing since Sonic and the Blade of Courage came out! We make a fantastic team and I'm so happy to have her as a part of Acqua Scans now!

Last but not least, we have an adorable new mascot, Freckle the Harp Seal!

At the encouragement of our awesome collaborators over at Sonic Sunset, we came up with a mascot for our group! Say hello to Freckle!
