Free the Children U of T Hosts “The Sweetest Sin” Charity Bachelor & Bachelorette Auction
TORONTO - Thursday February 14th, Free the Children (University of Toronto) chapter hosted their annual Bachelor & Bachelorette charity auction. And of course Side-Notes was in attendance! The annual auction featured attractive, educated bachelors and bachelorettes, with all proceeds put towards a clean water project (more info here ). The clean water project aims at constructing sustainable water access in rural villages overseas. The University of Toronto chapter raised $1,600 from the event for the community of Osenetoi. To date this raises the entire amount to $5,000 over the past year. The event also doubled as a dessert mixer, featuring an assortment of sweet treats and opportunities for networking. Gotta love sweets right? Stay tuned for photos from the event next week! A special thanks to the executive team, President Ahmed Belkandi & Vice President Lakmini Pinnaduwage for putting on a successful event for a charitable cause!
