Justice League Action - Superman's Pal, Sid Sharp
Sid Sharp's appearance is modeled off of his voice actor Jon Lovitz, that would make it difficult for him to appear in anything else legally.
Which is a shame because he is something the Daily Plant needs. His own morals are lose as show in the episode were he made a new hero identity to try and get more stories in the newspaper. He is great at sowing chaos as show with Darksides genrals and he is competitive with his one sided rivalry with Clark Kent. He could be the sceptics perspective on Superman, an honest anti-Clark Kent. There have been attempts like Jack Ryder and Leslie Willis, but both are quickly over shadowed in that role by there super powered person's. Jack Ryder sided with the Elites politics and form there he took Clark's job for a while. Superman and The Creeper are opposites. One being calm and freindly while the other is chaotic and off putting. The moment it's another hero they can be anti-Clark Kent, but they will never measure up to Superman. Leslie Willis on the other hand in her short time before villainy gives an interesting perspective. Taking the J. Jonah Jameson aprouch she is anti-Superman and she is show to have a following beyond Lex Luthor. That is never brought up again after her tranformation.
Sid Sharp could be the best of both worlds, a non powered antagonist for Superman & Clark Kent. Working along side him and gaining a small following for his contrarian views and finding out why someone wouldn't trust Superman. It could make saving peaple a struggle if they don't trust him. Sid give's a new point of view and I think it could be interesting.
