Hope delivers a magnetic access card. “This will get you in. What it won’t do is protect you.” (Pause) “Do you know how I got it?”

“Blair Wainwright. My sister. She’s not some random victim. She’s family.”

“We were like shadows of each other. Always side by side. Always pulled in opposite directions.”

“I asked her to infiltrate the project. To spy on our parents. She vanished the same week Marcus Kane died. Coincidence? Never."

“She was brave. Stupid-brave, maybe. But I respect that.”

“She called herself ‘Agent Briar.’ Said it sounded cool. I said it was the least discreet name imaginable. Really, someone called Blair using Briar as a codename?”

“Briar’s more subtle than ‘Agent Lavender Sparklemoon.’ Marginally.”

“She used to say her dream was to become an International Super Spy. I told her she was just a snitch... jokingly.” ... “Now I’d give anything to hear her call me ‘rude’ again.”

“We’ll find her. Not because we owe you—but because nobody deserves to disappear like that.”

“They turned her into something. I don’t know what. But if she’s still in there… she needs us.”

“We’ve faced the Sabbat nightmares, ghoul cops, a former Sage of Untamed Magic, really powerful mad scientists. If anyone can bring her back... it’s us.”

“Even if she’s changed. Even if she’s broken. We’ll try.”

“Bring my sister home. Find Blair.”

(Suzana and Rebecca meet their significant others at the Magenta Dive Bar).

Claudia: “So tomorrow you storm a lab full of secrets and death. Romantic.” Suzana: “I figured if I don’t come back... you should at least remember me in good lighting.”

Rebecca: “If I don’t make it, tell Jeanette she still owes me a dance.” Natasha: “You’re not getting off that easy.”
