to think niflheim would have the audacity to take his blood, to create flesh of his flesh and keep her as some miserly lab rat. to gralea would he spirit himself to, to their labs and past their shoddy defenses. no--in the cover of night, they would not know of his coming. but when he comes, it is gentle and not as a malevolent phantom. ' amelia. amelia--i've come for you. we're going to free you from this place. '
Amelia had been here for as long as she could remember. In fact, often times she wondered why she could never remember anything past a certain point. Just that… She had woken up one day, around a bunch of faces and things she did not know. They did things to her that were painful, but it had been all she had ever known. To Amelia, this was fairly normal. After they were finished, the scientists would be so kind to her, and put her back in the room they kept her in. Of course, nothing more than a glorified prison cell. She sat against the bed on the floor, the colour in her eyes dulled, black circles under her eyes, gazing into the distance as she hugged her legs to herself quietly, her red hair spilling down over her in a worn mess. An average day in a timeless place…That was when she heard it. A voice…? Amelia glanced around, confused. A gentle, soft voice. Slowly, she stood, staggering a bit. “H-Hello? Who’s there?” The girl called softly before a man appeared before her. Squinting her eyes a bit, she gently reached out her hand to reach out to him. He didn’t seem real. “Who are you…? Have we met before? I’m sorry, I don’t… I don’t remember.” Amelia admitted softly, clearly upset and apologetic by this. “Can we truly leave this place…?”@shyielding
