Im sorry this is late! 😔 some NYE shrimpy bois for a raccoonskier.

The shwitcher were gathered around their usual coral in kaer moreef when shrimpskier came swimming in, as fast as his little shrimpy legs would let him.

"Its time!" He shouts, excited. " the colorful lights are exploding! The annual light explosion celebration is happening! " he wiggles about in excitement before swimming back out the way he came.

The shwitchers look amongst eachother in slight confusion, the exploding lights celebration? They follow the excitable little shrimp out to the shallower area of the reef to see the exploding lights and muffled booms.

Shrimpskier gasps in delight, watching the colorful explosions above him, his beady little eyes lighting up with the lights. Shrimpralt stares finding the sight captivating, before approaching shrimpnificant other.

"I believe that what you call the exploding lights celebration, is the celebration of another trip around the bright light" he says softly, embracing shrimpskier.

Shrimpskier giggles "maybe so, but its beautiful none the less." he replies in wonder, still staring up at the surface.

Shrimpralt hums " there is a tradition i have heard about this celebration."

Shrimpskier glances at him "oh?"

"Yes, i believe you are supposed to kiss the year goodbye, and welcome a new year on the lips of another." he says, staring into shrimpskier's eyes in wonderment, blushing a faint blue.

Shrimpskier giggles in delight, blueing as well. " well then! Who are we to break traditions so important as these!" He says before launching himself at shrimpralt, kissing him passionately to welcome the new year on his lovers lips.

Shrimpralt tightens his embrace and kisses back deeply, embracing the joy and happiness he knows will come in the new year with shrimpskier at his side.
