All was well. It was quiet, perhaps a little too quiet, but that was just fine. Saiki Kusuo welcomed the absence of disturbance. It wasn’t perfect, of course. The idle thoughts of everyone in the area were still a low din in his mind, but other than that, the afternoon had been relatively peaceful. If it could just remain like that while he watched the three hour program on luxury desserts that was starting soon, he would consider it close enough to perfect.Â

He hopped up as he realized it and teleported onto the stairs without thinking. He rushed down as fast as he could, but he was already too late. He found his mother standing by the door which was already cracked open, and standing outside, looking completely fine, was Kaidou.Â
“Ah, there he is!” Saiki Kurumi smiled sweetly towards her son. “Your friend came by to see you!”Â
Kusuo stared at Kaidou, a less than thrilled look on his face.Â
Why are you here?Â
